Oh hey there!

I'm Megan Breukelman and I want to help you make your photography business work. I share actionable tips for photographers to grow and scale their businesses. Let’s get this out of the way: my last name is pronounced like ‘Brooklyn’ with a hiccup in the middle.

I worked in and around fashion and marketing, dipping my toes in for some wonderful experiences that shaped the way I see, think, produce and shoot. I co-founded and built an international digital and print fashion magazine called Atlas Magazine, in hopes to give up-and-coming creatives a platform.

I graduated with honors from the School of Visual Arts, studying photography with a focus on curation, production and editorial content. I’ve worked in agency environments, magazines, and with brands. Think ‘Devil Wears Prada’, only everyone is actually genuinely nice to each other.

There’s also my husband, Kenneth, who I love working with to make magic happen. He’s a photographer too! We literally got married in a photo studio. We have a wedding photography business in Brooklyn called, well, Megan & Kenneth. We also have an associate biz called Mutual Friends!
