Our wedding took place on February 24, 2019 in Toronto, ON at Album Studios. Read on for winter wedding festivities!
I can’t believe another year has gone by. 2018 felt like the longest year… and somehow the shortest all at once. So many strange occurrences have happened across the board, and so many small wonderful things.
On our little trip upstate earlier this month, we made the trek up to Croton-on-Hudson for the Great Jack-o-Lantern Blaze 2018. The Hudson Valley is full of wonderful festivities throughout October specifically. I’m so happy we got to stroll through this one.
On October 16th, 2018 on a little farm in upstate New York, Kenneth popped the question. It was a beautiful, bright morning–– a little brisk, but perfectly expected for an October day. At Stuart’s Fruit Farm, he created a picture-perfect proposal (and no, I didn’t realize what was being set up!) But how we got to that point is a less-than-picturesque tale…
How to spend a sick day – tips to get through a sick day and make the most of it. Because who actually knows what to do on a sick day?
Anyone who knew me in high school probably thought I was a bit shy. They’re definitely not wrong–– I was quite closed off for one reason or another. I had a comfortable circle of friends and stayed in the same school for eight years. I didn’t feel like I needed to get to know people that well.
I’ve thought about this a lot, as I think relationships such a case-by-case thing. However, they do seem to get trickier when involved in a competitive industries, like creative ones tend to be. This is my experience at making it work, and continuing to make work–– plus, I’ve listed my favorite photography duos at the end.
It’s the first day of October, and I’m very excited to share a challenge I am embarking on: Blogtober. This is basically a 31-day challenge to put out a new blog post every single day… here’s hoping I can make it happen! By pushing myself to write, photograph and be creative this much, I’m really hoping I can put content out there that is both valuable and meaningful.
There’s something so enticing about new beginnings, isn’t there? You’ve read this kind of post a thousand times, I’m sure –– new year, new me and all that. But this isn’t that. This is the welcoming of a much-needed new year, and new creative project.Taste & Taste is my little space to share creations from recipes to photographs to snippets of life.
